The Silent Antidepressant Reminder for Android That Doesn't Get Dismissed
Most antidepressant reminder apps default to alarms — sounds engineered to escalate until you respond. For users on long-running daily medication, those alarms become the thing the hand learns to dismiss reflexively.
Pause Moment is an antidepressant reminder for Android that locks your screen with your photo and your words — no notification to swipe and no escalation that trains your hand to dismiss faster. When the pause time arrives, the lock screen comes up with a start sound (your phone’s default alarm sound, a sound you pick, or none: switch it off and it runs silently). The sound stops when you tap “I’m Ready”; the screen stays locked until the timer ends and you tap Done. The persistent-alarm category produces noise the dismiss reflex eventually catches; an un-dismissable lock removes the dismiss path entirely.
This summarizes the quiet + un-dismissable combination. Pause Moment’s full guide for adults on antidepressants: The Antidepressant Reminder for Adults Who Can’t Afford a Missed Dose.
