I built Pause Moment because I kept losing the dismiss-the-reminder fight.

Every reminder app has the same problem: the alarm fires, you swipe it away before you’ve consciously processed what it was for, and you forget. For people on mental-health medication, that one missed reminder can mean a missed dose. For parents trying to be present at 6pm, it means another evening lost to a phone.

Pause Moment locks the screen instead. Your photo. Your words. A breathing ring. You can’t dismiss it the way you dismiss a notification.

I’m not a clinician and Pause Moment is not therapy or medical advice. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. It’s a tool I built because I needed it.

I also make Tend, an Android weekly planner. It shows your Google Calendar events next to your tasks, and anything you didn’t finish moves to today on its own, with no overdue pile. Same rules as Pause Moment: no ads, no account, and you can pay once.
